If you are an auditor trained to ISO 9001:2008 then you will need to complete the transition training course.
What has Changed?
- The customer remains the primary focus
- A new common ISO format (Annex SL) has been developed for use across all Management System Standards
- A significant re-ordering of the key clauses
- Increase the emphasis on Achieving Value for the organisation and its customers
- Increase emphasis on understanding and control of Risk to the organisation
- Decrease the emphasis on Documentation
- No stated requirement for Documented procedures (but this does not mean you should delete them!)
- No reference to a Quality Manual
- No requirement for a Management Representative
- No formal requirement for Preventive Action
- Outsourcing is now External Provision
- Enhance Leadership Requirements
